Directions

From the East

Take I-240 West and exit at #5A, the Merrimon Avenue exit. On the exit ramp, get into the left-hand lane. Turn left at the stoplight onto southbound U.S. 25, also known as Broadway. Immediately get into the right-hand lane and go straight through four lights. The BB&T Building is on the right. Enter the front lobby to the elevators. The Foundation's offices are on the 16th floor, Suite 1600.

From the West

Take I-240 East and exit at #5A, the Merrimon Avenue exit. Remain in the middle lane on the ramp. Turn left at the light onto Broadway. Stay in the far-right lane and go straight through three lights. The BB&T Building is on the right. Enter the front lobby to the elevators. The Foundation's offices are on the 16th floor, Suite 1600.

Parking Options

Closest: The BB&T Deck, located on Broadway, north of the BB&T Building.
Rate: $2 per hour or $5 flat fee (one-time entry).

Rankin Garage, located between Haywood Street and Rankin Avenue, just north of College Street.
Rate: Free for first hour then 75 cents/hour or fraction there of ($8 maximum per day). Special Events $6.

Civic Center Garage, located behind the Buncombe county Public Library, off of Haywood Street and next to Vanderbilt Apartments and the Asheville Civic Center
Rate: Free for first hour between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., then 50 cents/hour or fraction thereof ($8 maximum per day). Special events $7.

College Street Parking Deck (Buncombe County), located on College Street across from City/County buildings.
Rate: $1/hour, daily maximum charge $8. Open 24 hours.Pack Place Parking Garage, located on Biltmore Avenue, south of the BB&T Building.
Rate: $2 for first hour, then $1/hour after that; for entry after 4 p.m., rate is $5 flate fee.

Metered on-street parking: $1/hour between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.. Meters accept coins only.
