How to Apply for a Women for Women Grant1. Access Community Foundation Staff Assistance Program Officer Lisa Forehand is available via phone or email to provide personalized assistance to organizations as grant proposals are developed in December and January. This assistance is valuable in strengthening an organization’s chance of success. 2. Submit a Women for Women Grant Application You may request an application form be mailed to you or you may access the forms by clicking the following links: CFWNC Grant Application Cover Page (required by all applicants) CFWNC Grant Application Instructions (review to ensure you have submitted all required attachments for your grant application.)
Applications are reviewed with regards to the Women for Women Grant Objectives, the availability of funds (approximately $300,000 in 2008), the applicant's capabilities, and the potential benefits to the community.
3. Participate in the Review Process Selected organizations will be asked to participate in site visits by Women for Women members during March 2008. Grant proposals are evaluated by a review committee, approved by the Women for Women membership, and funding decisions will be announced in mid-May.
