Organizational Development Grants

The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina is pleased to offer Organizational Development Grants of up to $7,500 for nonprofits that seek to improve organizational capacity and management capabilities in order to better serve the community.

This program is an effort to strengthen the nonprofit sector in Western North Carolina. The expectation is that grantees will become more effective and efficient in serving clients, program participants, and ultimately the community. In collaboration with the Eckerd Family Foundation and the Steelcase Foundation, more than 100 organizations have received grant assistance since the program began in 2002.

Beginning in April 2007, this program will be offered through WNC Partners for Nonprofit Success, a collaborative effort among several of the region's funders, including The Community Foundation.
