Affiliate Funds

Since 1992, The Community Foundation has supported and encouraged the growth of affiliate funds in order to extend the benefits of philanthropy across our 18-county region. Each of our affiliates is building an endowment fund to support charitable causes through grants in their community. The Community Foundation provides investment, accounting, grantmaking and administrative services, allowing affiliate boards to focus on attracting donors and supporting nonprofit organizations. Through boards of local leaders, our affiliates are a strong connection to needs and opportunities across our region.

There are affiliates in Black Mountain, Cashiers, Haywood County, Highlands, McDowell County, Mitchell County, Rutherford County, Transylvania County and Yancey County.
