Based on priorities outlined by our community and Board, CFWNC identified Early Childhood Development, Food and Farming, Natural and Cultural Resources and People in Need as focus areas through 2016.
Proactive community investments support regional collaborations and partnerships. These grants are often made in partnership with fundholders. Total investment for 2015 totaled $1,926,633. Since 2011, $5,617,572 has been distributed through focus area grants, focus area capacity grants and Janirve Sudden and Urgent Need grants.
