At CFWNC, we collaborate with generous donors and skilled professional advisors to expand philanthropy across this wonderful region.  The Foundation transforms gifts from individuals, families and businesses into grants that flow to talented nonprofits in eighteen counties where the funds power programs that support Western North Carolina's diverse residents and unique assets.

From humble beginnings, the Foundation has grown into a center for philanthropy with $289 million in assets under management.  That growth happened because of relationships that were built over decades, and it is the direct result of people choosing to invest in this region for the long haul.
